 Malaysian tech firms win Deloitte award |

KUALA LUMPUR, 23 JANUARY 2009 -- Consulting firm Deloitte Technology has said 12 Malaysian companies have won the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2008 Awards. Deloitte Malaysia executive director of technology consulting, Ow Chee Hong, said the technology sector in the Asia Pacific region continued to soar in 2008, as Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific winners set new records for growth. “The 12 companies are also among the top 500 companies in the Asia Pacific region to win the awards.” Ow said that the 12 companies are: Pulse Group PLC, which was ranked No 1, followed by Everest Web, N2N Connect, Kreateevee, Bsmart Technology, XYBASE Sdn. Bhd, Riskk.Com, Bernama Systems & Solutions Advisor, IF Interactive, Comintel, Interbase Resources, and JobStreet.com.
“This year saw an increase in the number of Malaysian internet companies that made it into the ranking,” said Ow.
