Description:

This is XYBASE's second Consultancy Contract with Samsung SDS in providing consultancy service for the Integrated Information and Communication System project. Both XYBSE and SDS have developed strong working relationship since the first consultancy service.

With our proven implementation methodology and approach, we managed to assist Samsung SDS in meeting their contractual requirement for the Temporary Benchmarking Test Laboratory Acceptance Test. Under this new consultancy service, we further assisted them in preparing for final acceptance test and commissioning of the IICS.

Description: Samsung SDS (SDS) has been entrusted by Inchon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) to carry on the entire Integrated Information and Communication System (IICS) left behind by SDS’s original partners. IICS consists of Information Broker Airport Operational Database Airport Integrated Management System Airport Information and Communication Centre Common User Interface Backbone Network Network Management System Benchmarking Test Laboratory. Due to the complexity of the entire system and time limitation on implementation, both SDS and IIAC contracted XYBASE to be the best choice because of our credential in building KL International Airport into the most technological advance airport in the world. Furthermore, both airports are planned on the Total Airport Management System concept, which is to apply Information Broker technology in integrating all airport systems. Three major categories for XYBASE scope of works includes: Test Method and Procedures. IICS Commissioning Plans and Procedures. Systems Integration. XYBASE assembled a team of consultants including airport operation experts, experience airport integrated system consultants and project management experts in fulfilling SDS and IIAC’s needs. These tasks were completed by February 2000.
