XYBASE has been awarded the contract to supply and integrate XODB (XYBASE’s award winning Airport Operational Database), XTMS the XYBASE Terminal Management System and XMB (the only working middle messaging product in North America). XMB will provide the interface between the XYBASE supplied products and the EVIDS (Electronic Video Display System (supplier still TBD), the Johnson Controls BMS (Building Management System) and the Videcom CUTE (Common Use Terminal Equipment). XYBASE foresees an opportunity to integrate more systems into this cohesive airport management structure being supplied as part of the Johnson Controls overall contract. This type of phased growth and system expansion, to keep pace with airport demands and constraints, fits perfectly with the open and easily applied interfacing business process that is inherently part of XYBASE implementation and the XMB.
