Our involvement in the EG-AG project further enhanced our capabilities as an Operation, Maintenance and Support service provider. For the EG-AG project, we were entrusted to continue providing (contract renewal) maintenance and support services for hardware and software that include Helpdesk Support, Remedial and Preventive maintenance, System and Database Administration, for 25 AG offices (AGOs), 7 Self-Accounting Departments (SADs) and 1 MAMPU office locations / sites throughout Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak.

The supported hardware includes more than 30 IBM servers (including several RISC 6000 F80 and 6M1 machines), a SUN server, more than 300 Personal Computers, more than 30 printers, Autoloaders, Storage Discs, Tape Drives and, Network hubs and switches.

The supported software includes AIX and Linux Operating Systems, Oracle Databases, Oracle Internet Application servers, Peregrine Helpdesk software and Tivoli Systems Management software.
The contract also includes the maintenance and support of application systems in the EG-AG project. This involves the maintenance and support of the e-SPKB systems, LFEP, Collection System, e-Maklum System, XMB (Message Broker), BASFE, InfoConnect for WinNT and Inet-FTP for 31 AGOs locations / sites. These sites are supported by our own Support Engineers located throughout the country.
Our Engineers at 31 AGO sites around the country are currently executing the on-site System and Database Administration services 2 full days a week, while the Preventive Maintenance services are carried out once a month.
